Overview
A comprehensive warehouse management platform built to handle multi-location inventory tracking, real-time order processing, and automated stock replenishment workflows for a large enterprise client.
The client was managing warehouse operations across 3 locations using spreadsheets and disconnected legacy tools. Stock discrepancies, delayed order fulfillment, and lack of real-time visibility were costing significant operational overhead.
Built a centralized WMS with a NestJS microservices backend, real-time WebSocket notifications for stock events, and a React dashboard for warehouse operators. Implemented barcode scanning integration, automated reorder triggers, and a comprehensive audit trail.
Reduced stock discrepancy rate by 94%, cut order processing time from 2 hours to 18 minutes, and gave management real-time visibility across all warehouse locations for the first time.
